Meth360 – Uniting Communities Against Meth Abuse
Meth360 is a community-based program of live presentations to educate the public about the threat of this highly addictive, dangerous drug. Organized by the Partnership for a Drug-Free America.

Not Even Once
A website for teens, sponsored by the Montana Meth Project.

National Institute on Drug Abuse
Part of the National Institutes of Health, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. Provides information and research about the science of methamphetamine abuse and addiction.


National Drug Intelligence Center
Provides national reports on drug trends, including the National Drug Threat Assessment. The most recent National Drug Threat Assessment was released in October 2006. The National Methmphetamine Threat Assessment was released in November 2006.

Congressional Meth Caucus

A bipartisan caucus of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Center for Substance Abuse Prevention
An agency of the Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), which is part of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.

Clearinghouse for Alcohol & Drug Information
Provides free materials on drug and alcohol use. An agency of the Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration, which is part of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. Provides information about meth treatment and other manuals--known at TIPs (Treatment Improvement Protocols).

Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA)
A nonprofit organization that offers information and technical assistance to provide community coalitions with the capacity to address substance abuse issues.

Drug Enforcement Administration
An agency of the United States federal government whose mission is to enforce the nation's drug laws and regulations. It has a methamphetamine section and a section on drug use in Kansas.

National Alliance for Drug Endangered Children
A national resource for communities seeking to initiate or sustain Drug Endangered Children efforts

Rural Assistance Center
Provides information about methamphetamine use and manufacture in rural America.

National Crime Prevention Council
A national nonprofit organization that provides crime prevention information. It also operates a Methamphetamine Clearinghouse which provides information and technical assistance specifically about methamphetamine.

Patterns of Club Drug Use in the U.S., 2004
A report written by Jane Carlisle Maxwell, Ph.D. and sponsored by the Center for Excellence in Drug Epidemiology, the Gulf Coast Addiction Technology Transfer Center, and the University of Texas at Austin.

Office of National Drug Control Policy
Part of the Executive Office of the President. Provides information about drugs, including methamphetamine and Drug Endangered Children.

Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration
An agency of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. Funded the first year of the Kansas Methamphetamine Prevention Project. You can locate a treatment facility using SAMHSA's online search engine, called the Substance Abuse Treatment Facility Locator.
